Students attending Vista High School are exposed to various learning opportunities throughout the year including visits from speakers representing the Armed Forces Art InstitutesDelta and Modesto Junior CollegesSan Joaquin Valley CollegeCalifornia Beauty CollegeAdrians Beauty College, and the California Highway Patrol. Our goal is to show our students that they have pathways ahead of them that will provide them with additional opportunities for growth in a career or in post-secondary education.

Apprenticeship programs are occupational training programs that combine on-the-job work experience with technical or classroom study. Such programs develop useful job skills in individuals entering the workforce. These programs address the need for better-trained entry-level workers and help young people make the transition from school to the work world.
