Mr. Jimenez - School Counselor

I’m proud to serve as the school counselor for both Vista High and Escalon High, and this year marks my ninth year in the role. As the first person in my family to graduate from college, I understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with pursuing higher education. Before joining Escalon Unified, I worked as an Academic Advisor at Stanislaus State, helping students navigate the college process and discover academic and career paths that fit their goals.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Bilingual Family Support Service Provider with Head Start, a counselor at La Familia Counseling Center, and a residential counselor in group homes. Each of these roles shaped my passion for working closely with students and families.
I believe every student deserves the chance to continue their education or training after high school—whether that’s college, a trade program, or an apprenticeship. My goal is to ensure that students and their families have access to clear, helpful information about college admission requirements, financial aid, apprenticeships, and other opportunities that can open doors for their future.
